Schmohz Brewing Company

Schmohz is home to one of the oldest breweries in Grand Rapids. As a family owned business they keep the Craft Brewing tradition alive.

Originally opened as Robert Thomas in 1997, Schmohz purchased the brewery in 2004 and has been making beer there ever since.
Schmohz Brewing is a product of the dreams of a group of Michigan Tech Alumni. During the many long drives back and forth to school and the many nights researching beers at MTU, the dream of owning a brewery came up as a reoccurring topic. Home to the only Non Alcoholic Craft Beer in Michigan, Schmohz proudly serves from 16 taps of fine crafted ales and lagers, plus an own root beer. Schmohz strives to serve their friends and neighbors with high quality beverages.
